Twitch Streamer Destroys Bosses in Elden Ring’s DLC Using Her Mind

While droves of Elden Ring players complain about the apparent difficulty of Shadow of the Erdtree, a recently released DLC for the beloved 2022 soulslike, Twitch streamer Perrikaryal does what she does best and cuts through the expansion’s bosses like a hot knife through butter using nothing but the power of her mind.

For those who might be unaware, Perrikaryal has engraved her name into the annals of gaming history with her unusual approach to playing video games. Using a specially designed electroencephalogram (EEG) device, which reads her brain activity and translates it into in-game actions, Perrikaryal can move, fight, and interact with objects within video games, allowing her to experience them without hands.

Having previously beaten the original Elden Ring using this method, it was no surprise that Perrikaryal would tackle the expansion as well, and so far, she has already managed to defeat Shadow of the Erdtree’s Renalla and the Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Although she described battling the bosses as “the hardest thing ever”, Perrikaryal noted that getting to the bosses, with movement controls also dictated by brain waves, can often be even more challenging than the fights themselves.
