Unique pop up shop selling ‘vintage and retro’ sports jerseys set to return to Waterford this week

This week sees a unique pop-up shop return to Waterford with 12 rails of retro, vintage and modern classic GAA, rugby and soccer jerseys.

Onside Jerseys, which is based in Kilkenny, and is Ireland’s biggest combined online collection of authentic sports jerseys, is holding a four day pop-up shop in Georges Court Shopping Centre.

The event will feature classic Waterford hurling jerseys from decades past, Waterford FC jerseys as well as a vast selection of inter-county & club GAA jerseys, Premier League, European, Ireland and International football jerseys and Ireland and Munster rugby jerseys.

“We had such a huge response from the people of Waterford last July so it was a no brainer to return to the city for an even bigger event,” explained Nigel Taylor, owner of onsidejerseys.ie.

“We’ll be bringing 1000s of jerseys, from classic to lots of bargains, many of which aren’t on the website and will be exclusive to the event. This time around we’ll have 100s of kids jerseys with most of them priced at only €25.”

“Whether you are a serious football jersey collector, looking for something for training or looking to pick up a bargain we’ll have a jersey for pretty much every interest and occasion”

Opening times are Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 March: 10.30am to 5.30pm. Sunday 24 March: 12pm to 4pm.

Click and collect is available over the weekend and people can shop ahead on www.onsidejerseys.ie
