Update as Galway gardai searching for missing woman release ‘last seen’ details
Update: Fiona has been located safe and well. Gardai have thanked the public for their assistance in the search.

Galway gardai have appealed for the public’s help in finding a missing woman as details of her last movements are released.
People have been asked to help trace the whereabouts of Fiona Lennon, who has been missing since Tuesday morning, July 9.
The 55-year-old, who is described as 5 foot 4 with brown hair and an average build, was last seen in Galway City on the morning of July 9.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact gardai.
A statement from An Garda Siochana reads: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 55-year-old Fiona Lennon, who was last seen in Galway City on Tuesday morning, 9th July 2024.
“Fiona is described as being 5 foot 4 inches in height with brown hair and an average build.
“Anyone with information on Fiona’s whereabouts is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538 000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
Meanwhile Galway gardai are urging people to help trace the whereabouts of a young man as his family grow increasingly anxious to make contact.
20-year-old Stenys Py has been missing from his home in Galway since June 29 as An Garda Siochana launch an appeal to find him.
Stenys has limited English and his family are said to be ‘anxious’ to make contact with the young man, who is believed to be in the Dublin City centre area.
Stenvs is described as 6 ft tall, of slim build, with black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, and black & white runners. He was also carrying a black rucksack and a blue suitcase.
People have been asked to make contact with any information as soon as possible.
A statement from An Garda Siochana reads: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 20-year-old Stenvs Py, who has been missing since June 29th, 2024, from the Galway area.
“Stenvs is described as 6 ft tall, of slim build, with black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, and black & white runners. He was also carrying a black rucksack and a blue suitcase. Stenvs has limited English and is believed to be in the Dublin City centre area.
“His family and An Garda Síochána are anxious to make contact with him.
“Anyone with information on Stenvs Py’s whereabouts is asked to contact Galway Garda Station at 091-538000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
