Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp beat Swiss wildcard Dominic Stricker 6-3, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Swiss Open at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad.

Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 87, will face No 4 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
