Virgin Media reporter Zara King gets married in stunning West Cork wedding
Virgin Media’s news anchor, Zara King, has said ‘I do’ in a gorgeous ceremony in West Cork.
Zara and her other half, whose identity she keeps under wraps for his privacy, exchanged vows on Friday, 5th July 2024. The news presenter posted a striking black and white snapshot from their special day, capturing their first walk as a married couple, reports RSVP Live.
Along with the picture, Zara revealed the date and location of their nuptials, and included a touching quote by poet E. E Cummings:

“05.07.24 | Courtmacsherry, West Cork. here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart” – E. E Cummings.
The journalist stunned in an elegant dress with a chic structured sleeve. She chose a cascade of curls for her blonde hair.
Speaking ahead of her wedding, she previously told VIP that she was a very “chilled” bride, and may have underestimated the amount of planning that goes in to a wedding.
“We’re so excited and we’re really enjoying planning everything. If you asked anyone who knows me they would say I’m a very chilled bride but a very disorganised bride![” she told them.
“I underestimated how much work organising a wedding was, I was a bit delusional, but how are you supposed to know if you haven’t done it before?”
“I have a few things left to organise. But we’ll get there. The wedding is this summer, so it’s very soon. I should probably be a bit more on top of things. But it’ll all be fine! We’re looking forward to a great day together, everything will come together and I’m excited.”
The couple got engaged last year in Connemara. Congratulations to the happy couple!
