Wall of Wexford home demolished by car for a fifth time – ‘My main concern is that someone will be killed’

It was 5 a.m. when the doorbell rang at Nicky Curran’s house at the top of Whiterock Hill, on the Starvehall Road. He emerged, bleary-eyed, to find a young man standing on the doorstep having crashed his car through his wall and into the garden.

It’s not the first time this had happened. In fact, Nicky estimates that in past six or seven years, his wall has been hit by a passing car on five separate occasions, while both a railing and an ESB pole next to his property have also been hit.
