When will Kentucky basketball’s Rob Dillingham come off board during 2024 NBA Draft?

LEXINGTON — Rob Dillingham is a near lock to come off the board during the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft on Wednesday night.

An electrifying scorer for Kentucky basketball in 2023-24 during the final season of the John Calipari era in Lexington, Dillingham poured in 15.2 points per game, the second-best figure on the team behind senior Antonio Reeves (who averaged a Calipari-era record at 20.2). A North Carolina native, the lion’s share of Dillingham’s production came as a reserve. Of his 32 appearances for the Wildcats last season, Dillingham made only one start, which came in Game 2 against Texas A&M-Commerce.

Dillingham won the SEC’s Sixth Man of the Year award. He also was named to the All-SEC Second Team (by both the league’s coaches and media members) and All-SEC Freshman Team.
