Special Wimbledon cocktails, including Strawberries & Cream (a mix of vodka, tequila, strawberry purée and mint tea), were created in collaboration with London Essence and Sipsmith to make the perfect companion while you watch your favorite tennis stars battle it out.
Tennis-Inspired Cakes And Cocktails At The Kensington
Throughout the tennis tournament, the restaurant at The Kensington hotel is serving up delicious tennis-inspired cakes and cocktails. Options like the Tennis Ball, a matcha sponge with pineapple mousse, or a classic bowl of British strawberries and cream pair beautifully with tennis-inspired cocktails like The Lob, a blend of gin, citrus, and champagne, or Tea-nnis, a mix of Sipsmith’s London Cup, Earl Grey tea, nectarines and soda water.
Tennis Pastries At The Rubens At The Palace
Helmed by Paula Stakelum, the Global Director of Chocolate and Pâtisserie for Red Carnation, The Rubens at the Palace has tapped its beloved pastry chef to create exclusive tennis-themed pastries for guests to enjoy. They’ll be served up at the onsite pop-up, which is in collaboration with Lanson Champagne and will include live tennis screenings for those looking to watch the matches.
Wimbledon Cream Tea At The Lanesborough
While London’s weather may be unpredictable, the Wimbledon Cream Tea at The Lanesborough is not. The limited-edition tea, which will be served up all summer to celebrate summertime in Britain, has received a Wimbledon-inspired makeover. The experience begins with a Wimbledon Flora Cocktail (a combination of St-Germain elderflower liqueur, vodka infused with essence of strawberry and mint and champagne), followed by summer strawberries and cream, served alongside homemade scones, fresh clotted cream, strawberry jam and one of the Lanesborough’s signature teas.
Champagne At Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s Carousel Bar
In honor of the tennis tournament, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has transformed its lounge into a tennis-inspired carousel bar. The custom-made carousel has received a Wimbledon-inspired makeover, complete with tennis rackets, balls and TV screens to take in all the action. The bar will serve up Whispering Angel, Nyetimber, and Moet & Chandon from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. everyday.
Dine On A Courtside Menu At Saison By Mauro Colagreco
With a selection of dishes inspired by the championships, Saison by Mauro Colagreco is utilizing British summertime ingredients in its special Wimbledon Courtside menu. Dine on dishes like goat cheese ravioli in green and purple Wimbledon colors, a tomato salad with organic crème fraiche, shallots, and an egg atop chive ‘grass’ and two desserts featuring the ever so popular British strawberries during the duration of the tournament.
Sip On Pimm’s At A Wimbledon-Themed Brunch At Bocconcino Mayfair
In honor of Wimbledon, Bocconcino Mayfair has given its Ciao bottomless brunch a Wimbledon makeover, complete with bottomless Pimm’s, one of the official drinks of the tennis tournament. The Italian brunch includes a sharing menu with a DJ and live music blasting in the background.
