Windows smashed at Clydebank Shopping Centre as police hunt ‘mindless’ vandals

Windows were smashed at different premises in Clydebank Shopping Centre over the weekend as police hunt the vandals responsible.

Between Saturday, 1 and Sunday, 2 June, 2024 officers received reports of vandalism within the shopping plaza and at properties in the surrounding area.




Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are appealing for witnesses.

Community Policing Sergeant Andy Brand said: “These are mindless acts of vandalism and we’re doing all we can to trace those responsible.

“I’m appealing to anyone who saw this happening or has any information to contact us.

“If you have doorbell footage, private CCTV or dashcam of the area around the time, please review this and bring anything to our attention which could assist our investigation.”
