Woman killed in Carlow crash described as “A perfect daughter”
“A perfect daughter”.
That’s how the Tipperary woman who was killed in a crash in Carlow last evening has been described by her Father to Divisional Roads Policing Inspector Paul Donohoe.
He spoke to family members following the incident which happened on the N80 at Ballintrane just before 6pm.
The woman, who was aged in her early thirties, was pronounced dead at the scene after her car, a white Audi A4, was in collision with a white Mercedes Vito Van. Two of its occupants, men from Co Wexford, were airlifted to hospitals in Dublin – surgery was carried out on the driver last night and he’s in recovery while the second man has been discharged.
